Fanart of Robin and Starfire.

The idea for this was that the two heroes battle between the idea of beings heroes and leading "normal" lives. I went with the design from the animated series in the foreground, with more the comic design in the background.

They are heroes, and must step up every day to assist and aid those in trouble and in need. The age old question arises on if they can be more than just heroes. Can a relationship start and maintain with all the pressure being a hero demands? Or must they separate personal feelings to do what they must do?

I loved these two as a couple in the series, and to a degree the comic (although I confess I didn't read much of it, and got annoyed when they "broke up").

But, as time has passed, they have realized that emotions still run strong, and they cannot fight the pull to one another. And so, do they make the attempt, or just remain simply heroes?

Characters are owned by their proper affiliated groups. I just enjoy drawing them. 😊😊😊
