It started slowly. At first, Jack barely noticed it. Mark had only just regained his flight - he chocked it up to mild PTSD and stress...

They had been fine. Mark was still affectionate as always. Soft touches and feathery embraces, sharing a nest at night and waking tangled in each other. Even kisses exchanged at random.. It was new, but not unwanted.

But Mark wasn't himself. Even fully recovered, sometimes he would be hostile... More dominant and aggresive. Jack couldn't even guess as to why until Mark pinned him in a fit of territorial rage one day.

They got into an argument. Neither could remember what it was about.

All Mark remembered was something inside him burning and taking control. His eyes began to burn and his teeth shaprened into fangs, and suddenly he was on top of Sean in a display of hostility and utter animalistic rage... And all without meaning to.

Jack was genuinely afraid. For the first time in the demon's existence, he feared for his life. His angel was changing... And he wasn't sure what would happen next.
