Also inspired by chapter #616, to the point of some ranting
Come to think of it, all these misfits have no one waiting for them home, not even a place to call home* - and thus it's just sheer all-absorbing loneliness dwelling in the place where others are designed to have a heart.
I just feel this is the real answer that isn't allowed to show up from underneath the sweet villain talks Kishimoto provided for them.
Let alone I can't [refuse to] believe in Kishimoto's one-sided interpretation of Orochimaru as a synthetic villain
Having recently watched Shippuuden episodes 257-260 I find them extremely important. Even though they're entirely built on S1 animation, it's a refreshing and a VERY timely addition to the War arc. In fact, it brings the so much needed depth to Sasuke's character and helps to re-evaluate his persona
We probably won't see anything so psychological regarding Orochimaru's reasonings... But a girl can dream

I can't even start to describe how gorgeous their expressions are. Along with so many feelings one couldn't count, I can see the deepest concentration and knowledge in Orochimaru's eyes: and I'm sure Juugo and Sui can see it as well, judging from their questioning and expecting eyes.
P.S.: two girls dreaming are better than one.

Incredibly intense artwork. I love the concept and the expressions each character has. Especially love how Suigetsu and Jūgo seemed huddled together almost, and how Sasuke seems to be trying to hold a 'cold' facade while Orochimaru, though still young looking in appearance seems to wear his age through his expression. Great job. Another instant fave

So you're a Orochimaru fan? I love how you presented him here, really there is too few people making art of him. I really love Orochimaru, and a fact is that he's my favorite Naruto character.. I mean c'mon how can you not love the creepy bastard with the all too good looks XD

По поводу самой работы... Орочимару и Саске выглядят серьезными. Дзюго и Суйгецу в непонятках. Но это нормально. Они ведь не понимают, куда их и с какой целью, собственно, ведут.

It's really sad piece. Honestly I was so happy seeing Sasuke in the last chapter that I haven't even thought about Orochimaru beeing in Konoha. True they are back in this sad place both wating to destroy it and I'm starting to think why Kishi decided to revive Oro. And what they gonna do now. I think that after all Obito thing I kinda forgot about all Orochimarus evilnes. (Maybe I just started to like him xD)

The more I think about our lovely Orochi; the sadder his fate seems to me every other time I try to figure out his next moves
Because Sasuke, the truly magnificent bastard; he has Naruto to kick some sense into him (and Kurama to add the fluff, literally 
Juugo and Suigetsu seem to find strength in each other after all they've been together; and I believe (if dat Kishi isn't forgetting about her once again!
Orochi, technically; has the forever and ever loyal Kabs (and after I was seduced with the idea of Kabby being the child of Orochi and Nonou
So yeah; dead.
I really hope otherwise...

Your art style is cool...it's not copying Kishimoto, but it still looks like the characters you're trying to portray. You make an excellent point about villains. As someone who LOVES snakes, I found it really disappointing that the Snake Dude was pure evil.
