Heres my attempt to create the Milky Way galaxy. Its not done yet because I have some PC problems, and looks like I have to by a new one
Till then here is this WIP version.
Suggestions, Critiques, Comments are most WELCOME!

The concept art is amazing. It looks exactly like the Milky Way as much as we can't see from up top.I've always looked up to astronomy and facts about the universe.
The dark nebula clouds spinning from the outer arms, to the supermassive black hole in the galactic center is so well done to the picture because if were to gaze at Milky Way right now, you can't really see the galactic center because it is blocked by the dark clouds and extra stars behind.
It seems that you have every arm that is part of the galaxy especially the Orion Arm
which is where our solar system is located.
This is one of the most amazing concepts of space I've ever seen.How this galaxy is designed is outstanding and it deserves my credit and all who love to learn about galaxies, superclusters, and the Universe in general.Who ever made this concept has my full gratitude and credit.e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/cā¦ " width="20" height="20" alt="

...and yeah, it doesnt feel very natural thats why its still a WIP. I would like to work on it a lot more, It needs more randomness I think. But first I need a new PC!!!!! Grrrrr

thats us there in the lower insignifact left arm of the milkyway and we are about to make way for a vogon express way
or at least shunted aside if we log ina complaint form in triplicate in time that si to say 46 years before the actual construction commences other wise its our own outlook and we just have to move

Nice very realistic. Blended and lit well. However the Milky Way is a barred spiral... [link] Still a VERY awesome galaxy though! Great work!!!
