Back Story:
Daya grew up in everyday castle living fit for a prince (though she was only the friend of one) and she grew up living life carefree and instant to instant, she even got the luxury to be schooled along with her friends. She eventually grew up and decided she wanted to do more than sit around and play all day, she wanted to make her queen proud. She enlisted to be a part of the royal guard, but later was sent off to fight in the war, but Daya was always a fighting spirit so this was right up her alley. As the battel went on she would train everyday with the young prince to keep her skills up to par, later that day during battle she could see many enemy soldiers making their way over to prince Eli in the heat of battle, she tried her best to warn others but none would listen, it was up to her to finally save someone, she swooped in just barely making it and defended him, taking a few scars on the back and a ruined set of armor with her. She checked over the prince after battle and treated his wounds, other soldiers cheered her on for doing so and protecting the soon to be king, she was later knighted and declared to be an official member of the shining angels brigade, she basically went on adventures to bring honor to her queen’s name. One day while in travel with her favorite companion pinne of which she had owned since joining the royal guard, and few members of the shining angels…. they were attacked, though she put up her best fight and braved through most, there were too many, she was pinned to the dirt road and had to watch as her friends and best companion were mercilessly murdered, in her last moments they made an “example” out of her and her companion, before disposing of her horse pinne they set fire to him and rolled him off a cliff into the deeper canyons. she was then asked for her final words as she stared into the eyes of a traitor…. Eli. She could never forget that sickening grin of his. She put on a brave face and let it be known “why speak when no one will be there to remember it” she was then mercilessly decapitated, she kept eye contact the whole time, and as she was decapitated one could’ve swore they saw her mouth “Long live the fiend” as her body dropped to the ground as if she were nothing but an old sack of potatoes they tossed the head off to the dirt. Days later the Eli was to be crowned, though he did play a good role as the lone survivor of the rouge attack, he was to live no more. That day as Prince Eli was preparing himself for his coronation a familiar voice could be heard from behind him, before the man could speak she sliced his head clean off with her sword, she made sure it would be found so before leaving she strung the head up in town near where his lover and child would surely find him. After such Daya went on living, not knowing how, but they did, lurking in the shadows as times passed by, not forgetting to hunt down the blood that remained of their killers, once she found her quest to be quite dull she found a wonderful place to settle down in after years of searching and being hunted down like a trophy. She never understood why either but oddly enough humans idolized a similar creature of her being, especially on the day of her death, this day was to be known as what humans would call Halloween.
