I love the windows media player/ ipod border look, really nicely worked out. Somethings i dislike, but most of it is alraidy said by the other posters here, think one of the most important points is that it doesnt give me a game ''vibe''. I checked out what kind of game EVE is, spacy kind of actionRPG? dunno, looked spacy. Anyway, why not implement stars, planets and other space-scenery? Could have done the trick, if nicely worked out of course...
Overall i really like it, well put together!

If worked out nicely stars dont actually have to look childish, wouldnt even be ''fancy shit''. Plus, if i look at ingame screenshots i only see stars, ships and milky ways. I never intended to say that the site isnt readable or lacking functionality.

Cool, but maybe a bit standard/boring.
there is an empty area under the blue bar, you should fill that by enlarging the blue bar, or just by putting the content a bit higher. You could do a bit better at the text/type in the menu.
In all the submenu's (New's/Login/PlayDemo etc.) you use non anti-aliased font's. Why? You are using a reflection, which means you are putting a picture there and not a selectable text element. Why not use anti-aliasing in photoshop, makes it look a bit better too 
Im not really sure about the cracks in the background, its not really in the style of the rest of the website, though it gives something cool to the website, im not sure about that

this is great, but has potential to be amazing.
you clearly thought out and put a lot of effort into specific parts, like the gloss and the borders, but not nearly as much time into others, like the logo, navigation, and just the text/type in general. you should use a much smaller text size for the logo, and put use more gloss around the blue bar area where there is a large dead space?
despite the inconsistency, this is still a very good, professional layout.
