when it comes to the tenth doctors companions, its really hard for me to choose my favourite.Martha was the first i saw, but even though she's great, i don't think she's my favourite.
and rose was the first. and with her came the pretty tragic love story between her and the doctor. i'd be lying if i didn't majorly ship them
but they ultimately don't end up together (well, you know what i mean.) which breaks my heart because she gets a happily ever after but he doesn't. i don't think anyone hurt the doctor as much as she did. she was a great character though
and then theres Donna. i didn't know what to think of her at first, but I've come to conclude that she's funny, caring and has a really great friendship with the doctor. i like they get each other and theres never anything romantic between them. they just have each others backs, which i think is perfect
so, i may not have a favourite, but i think if i absolutely HAD to choose, it'd probably be Donna
anyways, this took QUITE a while, but i am extremely proud of it
i was afraid that Donna wouldn't come out well cause I've never drawn her before but i'm pleased and seriously? pin stripes? wow. so hard to make. ~

Like you I didn't know what to make of Donna. After being charmed by Rose it was hard to move on. What do you think of the New Doctor and Amy Pond?

I'm still not feeling Matt Smith as the Doctor. Of the three I liked David Tennant and then Christopher Eccleston. We'll see what happens this season because I will watch.

That's weird, Donna was always my least favourite...
I have a bit of a love/hate thing going with Amy right now. There are a lot of moments when I think she's gorgeous, she's funny and realistic and caring, but at other times I just bury my head in my hands and go "you stupid slut..."
But she's cool purely because she's Scottish

Scotty gave me the fifth season, so it's on my laptop and I've been watching it over and over because I've been sick.
Sometime when I'm not broke I'm going to start buying the DVDs of the new series, and after that I'll start collecting the old series
Matt Smith is pretty cool, I'm loving him
Yeah, I think it's because her character is actually Scottish, wheras the Doctor has always had an English accent. There have been a few Doctors who've had to change their accent, and since the old series was wonderfully dodgy, you can sometimes hear them slip. It's kinda funny, actually, same way as looking for prop malfunctions, botched lines and people reading off props in the old series. Makes an excelleent game.

SUCH a hard act to follow! he is absolutely stupendous! i've heard oodles of good stuff about tom baker, so if matt smith is sort of like them i am sure it is good thing.

hmm, I've seen quite a few of the DVDs in the ABC shop, but I don't think they sell whole seasons there, and some of the seasons in JB's, so I'll hunt around. That's only the new series too, I think I'll trawl eBay for the old

lol yeah i was telling somebody else on da that i think he lokos like john krasinksi (jim halpert on the office US) and i'm pretty much in love with him so that is a HUGE compliment
yeah i just hope the stories are as good because david tennants stories are SO good! russel T davies writes the best episodes, and he left this season didn't he?

Haha, ABC is a TV station, so the shop is the merchandise shop, and JB's is an awesome cheap DVD/CD place with just about everything imaginable
Haha, yeah that's cool.
Yeah, Stevan Moffat pretty much took over, with the rest of the writing team still on board, and he did pretty well. The season finale had me literally on the edge of my seat with all the twists and turns. It was in two parts, and I almost didn't even bother watching the second part because I couldn't see any possible way for them to move forward at all, and normally I'm really good at predicting plot in some way

ABC, in America is a TV station i wasn't sure about australia.
we don't get it in canada, however the canadian stations (global, CTV etc) all carry shows from US stations. for instance, Lost was on ABC but i watched it on CTV, and Glee is on FOX but i watch it on global. so yeah i know its a TV station though

Yeah, ours is a little different though, it's like the Australian equivalent of the BBC, and Seven is like America's ABC. It's a little weird.
