My Charizard (X): Lohbert (the german name of a certain dragon in a certain game. could've named him Gloomtail, but prefered this one)
My Charizard (Y): Eragon (this one might be pretty obvious but i find it a very cool nickname nonetheless)
So what about Charizard and its Mega Evolutions? Well, the one for X finally gives trainers, what they always wanted for the dragon, that wasn't a Dragon-type. Thanks to his Fire-type he doesn't even fear the Fairy-type so much, which was great news for the fans, who were afraid before. Also a black and blue color scheme? It looks about as badass as regular Charizard being shiny but it's a given, when you go with this one. Then again Mega Charizard Y keeps the normal colors and that's why its shiny form still is better. Even if keeping the types won't help with the Rock-type weakness it can fight back with instant Solar Beam, which also works great against all those Water-types. The decision is up to the trainer, which is what makes these two so great in the first place.
