For a richer black I tried using a charcoal pencil ,and I accidentally smudged it in some places.Not only that, but the left and right wings aren't completely even :/ . The reference photo had no shadows , so I had to draw them by feel.
p.s.: I'm very grateful for any kind of feedback.

Looks like you took quite a bit of time on this - even before reading the description, I could see that. And don't worry about the symmetry... nothing in this word is perfectly symmetrical, anyway.

I think it looks lovely. Butterflies often have uneven patterns. It adds to the realism. The smudginess adds to the effect of the butterflies tiny ' feathers'. Good work!

butterflys are hard to draw from any angle if ur drawign them still life and not jsut shades or cartoonised. i think you did very well its a lovely piece of art
