This is a giftie for that was supposed to be for the 500 page-view mark... I promised her something for 502. So, here it is! The long awaited... something. This took me some time, b/c I was deciding how to shade and do the background, etc. um... it's a little messy... I'm not very good at keeping my drawings clean. This is good b/c it really gave me some insight into shading textures and a source of light that is actually central to the picture.

About the subject: A fairy holding a drop of dew (fairy's dew) which is radiating an aqua-toned light (which I hoped to emphasize with shading, but the colored light didn't really get caught by my scanner, which is lazy) and she is standing under a plant/leaf thing. To be honest, it wasn't really my idea. I have one of those things of glass with the little bubbles inside that make a picture/figure, and it is based loosely off of that... also, I've been wanting to do that for a while.
