Hello everyone! Here's a shot I took last Friday in Porkala (a cape outside Helsinki in Finland) at sunset when *Bavenmark , *bliz and I were out there photographing some waterscapes. I processed the RAW with the new Photoshop CS3 beta and added soft vignetting and the frame.Print available.

You know, despite my bewilderment at all of your work, I find that a lot of it looks really similar. You have really taken that red orange horizon with the rocks going out to sea, and ran with it. I think as I watch more and more of your stuff emerge, the pictures that I truly enjoy, are the ones that seem new for you. It's funny, I could say these were all beautiful, which they are, but then, you've heard that a million times, myself included. But quite honestly, I'm beginning to develop a mindset that says, "you've seen one, you've seen 'em all." Or maybe I've just seen too much American Idol and I'm turning into a Simon or something. I don't quite know.

These are the photos I love to capture, as my nature around me is restrictive (nothing much more than water, rocks, landscapes and a horizon). In the beginning of February I will go to the northern part of Finland though, and hope to ge tomse nice and different photos from there.

Very nice picture!!! I think that quite many of your pictures are! Can you tell me a thing... How do you put on frames in photoshop?! I've been looking for it, but I can't seem to find it!
