I'm glad you like it In my opinion, shadows are quite difficult to draw (particularly when I have to draw white animal on dark background). But I use a method, which helps me controlling a contrast. Firstly I make light gray background. Then, I gradually make the background darker (It should be made slowly, hurry only causes mistakes). Shadows on fur mostly depend on light and body shapes (each animal species have specific skull shapes). To add right shading just look on some photos - canines have specific 'side whiskers' (I don't know how it should be called ) and longer fur near the end of a head. On the drawing it's under ears, and this place should be shaded.
