So I had a dream last week about a piano player....I won't go into detail about the dream itself, but I woke up determined to translate her into my artwork...It proved very difficult!First off I had such a hard tome trying to show her full body and a piano and everything else I wanted, like her hands all in the painting....This has taken me way too long and has more layers than anything I have ever done before. But she is finally finished!!!
I used to have stripes like that in my bedroom when I lived in LA, so I think thats where that comes from.
Painting and Photo Collage/Photo manipulation/headache done in photoshop CS4 with Wacom tablet.

Thats sort of how it was, in my dream there was a spiral staircase and the girl ended up somehow being a tap dancer instead of a piano player...I get really vivid strange dreams when I am pregnant, I think it's my pre-natal vitamins.
