Description Connections: Grøh and Zero are bitter and hateful sword wielders who were corrupted by an evil and parasitic force in service to malicious beings of great power, who seek to destroy the world (Grøh's soul was half-corrupted by Nightmare, controlled by Soul Edge/Inferno and Zero was infused with the Flower, sent by the Gods to make her its host). Appearing to them while half-dead, these malevolent forces gave them the power they needed to fight back against their fate, but was just as much a curse as it was a blessing, and parts of their being were sufficiently enhanced (Grøh's aggression and Zero's libido), making them more violent and emotional. The power within which led to their corruption also paved the way for the major antagonist(s) (Azwel and the Intoners), with whom they have personal history (Grøh's and Azwel worked together within the Aval Organisation and the Intoners were created from Zero's attempted suicide, being like sisters to her). Aswel and the Intoners are also surrounded by their close group of followers (Qualifiers and Disciples), though their goals differ despite similar methods (Aswel seeks to save and advance the human race while the Intoners seek to destroy it). Grøh and Zero wander the world in search of them in order to finally put an end to their schemes, and once their mission is achieved, they plan to end their own lives, preventing the evil within them from doing any more harm and freeing them of their suffering.
