Be nice, or she won't tell you what it is.This is part of a more or less spontaneous shoot I went on today with someone I only really got to know while taking pictures of. I think the expression on her face, especially the tightness in her lips, makes it look like she's got a secret she's just dying to tell.

I don't believe that there's any secret at all, but I like the depth of field and background and colours. Did you put a grain on it, or is it just cos your exceedingly far away and made of grain?

Actually, I had my camera set to ISO 1000 by accident. I contrasted the crap out of it and got both the illusion of sunlight and increased grain. If you can't hide it, might as well make it prominent... otherwise it just looks like you screwed up.

This is well done! The model is very effectively placed in the frame, and as aforementioned, the vibrancy of her hair really makes her stand out. My eyes waste no time in focusing right to her, and I like how I am able to settle them so quickly. The other thing that makes this piece so effective, in my opinion, are the repetitive posts that diminish into the distance. It adds both depth and a nice leading line. Good stuff

she looks very young, but that's beside the point...
great colors... her red hair and orangeish skin beautifly compliments the lighter whites and blues you have in the background... and despite how you didnt stick to the rule of thirds, the great centering of attention you did with the building's vannishing point is excellent... great work
