thank you!! I'm trying new things but want to keep going back to my 'usual' style -- y'know.. cars, girls, bird/cat heads i'm glad i finally got to use this guy.. i've had that picture for almost 2 years! was waiting for the 'right thing to use it in'

i completely understand.. it's nice to branch out and do something different--you learn something new, and i also think it helps you continue to develop your 'base style' -- or at least add some nuances and more depth to it.

i have several pictures on my drive that i am saving for the right image to use it in. nothing worse than wasting a cool picture on something that just doesnt work right. although all of my stuff is digitally created so i could use images over and over-- but that would become a bit repeptative.

TOTALLY. i love mixed media collages with 3d elements in them. And the use of negative space, and attached elements is incredible in this one.
