5th drawing of my serie "the powers"
Water Efenters are generally kind beings, thought they can be tough if bothered.
Contrary to shadow, moon and sun Enfenters, they can manipulate water, and use it to defend themselves if attacked.
They are also very good at seing the future using mirrors of water.

Les Efenters de l'eau sont en générale de nature douce, assez calme, même s'ils peuvent se révéler redoutables si on les cherche d'un peu trop près.
Contrairement aux Efenters de l'ombre, de la lune ou du soleil, ils peuvent utiliser directement l'eau, par exemple pour se défendre s'ils sont attaqués.
Ils peuvent arriver à voir le future en utilisant l'eau comme un miroir

I really like the symbolism in this artwork. One thing I find flawed (and Im not certain if its flawed or if it was intended to be this way) is that the line art underneath is not perfected. Its a little rough around the edges, and not as smooth and precise as I think you are capable of doing.
I do think the general placement and proportion is very good. I enjoy your use of color, as its easy to tell that this is a water creature. I do like the hair, as the semi fuzzy look indicates hair under water so I think thats very well done. I do agree with the first critique that there might be a bit more detail in things like the fins and tail. Overall this is, in my opinion a nice piece. I look forward to seeing more.

Well, I agree with you for the line underneath. I couldn't make it perfect. Maybe I should try for next drawing to use a rule and a caliper (shiver of horror at the memory of geometry classes

this is a good work but there are missing details to it, for example the hair should have some kind of pattern or lines to give the impression there is hair in the area, a flat color just with shading doesn't give that impression.
the lack of scales on the tail of the creature also results not so real or looks like is not finished or something, I like the colors you have used on this one but the details are missing and that makes me wonder why aren't they there e.deviantart.com/emoticons/i/i… " width="19" height="19" alt="
Another thing is that the arms at a little bit too short for the figure, but this could or couldn't be a problem, depends on the side that you see it. I know this work isn't perfect, I'm not entirely satisfied by the tail.
But I worked a lot on this, especially for the background, and after a few hours, I felt I wouldn't be able to improve that work.
Maybe I'll do a new version of this. or another mermaid

Yes,scales are difficult, because if you add to much details, the drawing seems to be crowed, and not enough, it seems a bit plain. I think I will try to draw some dragons for a training

J'aime beaucoup, l'anatomie est très soignée et les yeux sans pupille donnent un côté étrange qui convient bien aux déformations que peut apporter l'eau

J'aime beaucoup ce dessin, le regard du sirénien résume à la fois l'interrogation du gardien face à un inconnu entrant dans le domaine que la réserve intelligente source d'apaisement en vue d'éviter un conflit.
