This is really good. I like the dress and how you drew the guitar, and background. It's a nice way of drawing Mio, having her face forward, and you nailed the clothes. Especially her glove e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="
I think the only things that got me were the face, which looks a bit awkward for whatever reason. I think the eyes look well-drawn, so I'm pretty sure it's that the nose is awkwardly shaped? I guess her face just doesn't look like Mio's exactly.
Also, I am a bit confused by the sizes of the chest and the rest of the body. I think that the body is too big for everything from the chest upwards. It looks a little too small, and the dress is a bit big. I'm not sure, you may want to redo it with different sizes.
However, in all a good piece and I can see where you were going. It would be nice to see it updated XD

love the shading on the hair and the simple but colorful background.
About the critique on the body being too large, I think that could easily be fixed by bring in her back so that it slope inwards just a tad bit more. Right now she has an undefined waist.

I actually rather enjoy the gesture of the hands.
The proportions are a little off, but clearly you are very talented, and it's nothing that you can't work out with a little more practice (and I've seen your anatomy is quite good in some of your other pieces).
My only question is about the guitar...is it intentionally that she is playing left handed?

This needs work. Your lines are inconsistent. The hands look wiggly and unrealistic. Work more on the hair texture.

Thank you. She's from a band anime called K-ON, I think the fandubs are still in the process of being released so it won't come out officially just yet. Still I kinda liked it. XD
