it kept clinging to herat first she didn´t pay it any mind, sand always had a way to stick to your body after a quick dip in the sea.
but now, as she walked just a couple of meters from the sealine the sand seemed to jump alive, more grabbing at her than sticking, piling up in layers and layers, keeping her from yelling for help
it took long but she managed to get her breathing under control, once having a slightly clear mind she ripped out her arms first in an attempt to have something to clear the sticky mess that she wasn´t sure of was sand anymore.
yet her arms remained drenched in the grabbing sand, putting all her force to at least get one arm clear.
whatever the thing that took a hold of her was, it took great pleasure in her struggles, and clearly wasn´t planning on letting her go anytime soon.
