Here we got a Ninetails, played by someone called Pastey. Now with this one, we actually get into friends that put on more of a character, rather than just being themselves for the most part. Even putting on a bit of a voice too, which was a first for the season, but not for the entire series. Season 1 in Pokémon Emerald had a few that put on characters and personalities in the later parts of that season, while in Season 2, it's as early as the first stream.

In this instance, they put on an admittedly simple, yet humorous, evil wizard character. Taking over the world, casting fireball, cursing people and the like was game. At the beginning of the season, there was another personality trait of being a gamer, but that was dropped pretty quickly. I drew this at around that time when it was a thing, hence the controller and gaming PC in the image. When designing the figure, I didn't have much of a reference so I went full into the wizard look. I don't draw animals much, and since a Ninetails is pretty much that, I struggled a bit to make the form not look stupid in a bad way. The tails were also a bit of an issue, mainly for me deciding were to put them all. Without them, Ninetails looks goofy, and with them it gets a bit lost.

I still like this one too, and the posing is something that I'm pretty proud of. I always like doing dynamic posing, even if its a pain to try and pull off. I followed the Don Bluth "All Dogs Go To Heaven" rules for posing like this, and it worked out well. Although, it can definately be a bit hard to tell where the face is or what something is, due to all that stuff going on in the figure. That's something that I did a lot for these series of images, and still do a bit today.
