As she had many times today, Rarity sighed in bliss--and created a gust in the Manhattan streets below that, though brief, rivaled a hurricane. "Oh dear; sorry! Again!" She called out, her cheeks flushing bright crimson. People had been knocked off their feet for dozens of blocks, and she winced as she heard more than a few car alarms go off. But thankfully, nobody seemed to be injured, and order was soon restored.

Were she here, Rainbow Dash would probably have some tart remark about her repeated sighing...if Rarity had been at her normal size.
But when I'm... what is it; 2000 feet tall? Her lips would be rather tightly sealed, Rarity thought with a smirk, looking down at the city below; that looked so small even as she laid on her belly.

Between Flim and Flam's size-elixir sodas and Twilight's growth ray, Rarity had taken to spending a good part of her free time as a giantess. It had its hiccups (the craters she left in her wake with every step were a tad unsightly, and picking crushed trees and bits of pavement from her shoes was no fun at all), but scaling up was always lovely. It was a fantastic way to advertise her boutique, and seeing what everyone looked like from up here felt...wonderful. Rarity didn't indulge herself in silly things like juggling cars or using trains as lassos; Pinkie and Applejack's favorite pastimes when they got to be gigantic, but she enjoyed the attention gargantuan stature commanded nonetheless. For a fashionista, time in the spotlight was always welcome. Especially when there was no possible way ANYONE could EVER steal it.

That, and her size guaranteed her privacy when she wanted to relax out of doors. Nobody with sense would annoy a towering giantess while she was, say; listening to some music.

And on that thought... Rarity adjusted her headphones' volume and let her eyes close as an elegant classical piece started up. This one was one of her favorites: the string section was at the top of their game; every note was hit with grace and perfect timing. She sighed again--this time, making sure to exhale away from the streets. "Absolutely lovely. The next best thing to carrying the orchestra in my pocket...and at this size I probably could!" Smirking to herself, she began moving her legs in a slow back-and-forth motion, idly looking over her shoulder as the brass section added their own tones to the melody. She noted the sky seemed clear, so there wasn't any danger of clipping a passing plane with her lovely new black heels.

Rarity closed her eyes as the wind section joined in, an airy light flourish whose elegance gave her fleeting ideas for a new winter ensemble. If only she'd brought her sketchbook...

A faint buzz jolted Rarity form her reverie. Her startled yelp echoed for miles, and she winced as she saw several buildings shake for a second. Furrowing her brow at her interrupted relaxation, she retrieved her phone from her pocket and unlocked it.

Her feed showed she'd been tagged in a photo...no, in HUNDREDS of photos. And that number was growing quickly.
Rarity's annoyed scowl became a smirk. Everyone had a word to say about her, her lovely new black outift and heels; her size...and it was all high praise.

She'd even earned a tagline: #QueenOfNewYork

"Queen of New York..." the titanic fashionista mused aloud, closing her eyes to enjoy the orchestra's final crescendo. "I just might try that. Just without any of that unladylike 'rampage' nonsense Diamond Tiara likes so much. Honestly, how Miss Rich can encourage that behavior from her daughter, I'll never know."
