Description "This is an old land.
Stone house
paperweights.
Green fields,
its patchwork shroud.
Deeper than the dead
it sleeps.

Light my steps,
to Scotland's earthen ears,
the living
here are shades."

"Here are Shades" by Emily Veinglory

Specially modelled by Writer and Artist Emily Veinglory

Great great work, what an expression James. I love the hint of age you managed to create, it looks very natural, which I personally think it hard.

Ah yes, you are back and still on form James
At 1st glance reminded me of The French Lieutenant's Woman for some reason with the subtle sea scape background -until the Scottish theme takes hold. Your detail on facial expressions is amazing (as usual).
Definatly a highly accomplished illustrative page from a book, wonder how the story progressess, more work for you?
Damn, it's atmoshperically good, really excellent work an skills!!!
