Just a crappy speed painting because I'm having a lot of trouble gaining any confidence to draw things that aren't three simple spheres. I know it's not the cleanest of paintings, but speed paintings usually aren't since you set yourself an allotted time and stick within it. I stuck to an hour and a half and this is what I got.Yes, this is the first thing I have submitted since April. As I said, I'm having trouble getting over this lack of confidence in my work.

Definitely shows you still got it. If it were to be more defined with some sharpness to balance out the softness it would get there. Even with harder shadows and hotter lighting to make the forms pop. Its up to you whether you want to work on this any further but I think you're being a bit too hard on yourself. Keep it up.

Depends if you feel its worth it. You had the right idea with a rough layout this way
