A couple of months ago I was doing a search on deviantart for Code Lyoko fan art pics and I came across a fanart by one I liked the concept and thought it would be fun to draw my own version. Which I've renamed "Good Night Hug" Here's a link to the original:[link]
I got premission to draw my own version, but due to my schedule I wasn't able to do too much with it for a while. I came across it again on my computer and I found out recently that the original artist needed some cheering up so if they see it I hope they like it.

There's something about this picture that reminds me of a couple expecting their first child. (Hey, it's my the way my mind works. So sue me.)

Its suppose to be "oy vey" (I just use the Japanese oi in replacement) its a Yiddish word that mean "oh my," "geez," or "woe is me."

I think I know why. Those are stereotypical anime socks. I always pictured her wearing ankle socks and some anklets because I usually picture her as a track runner (she can run faster than a Mitch Hedberg joke) and those long socks aren't so good in track in real life.
What also bothers me is that if she sleeps so much in those things, why doesn't she sleep barefooted? I mean, she did that in "Deja Vu" and in "Is Anybody Out There?", so I put those qualities and draw her sometimes barefooted while some artists haven't really drawn her that way before.
Also, even though does believe me to some extent (he sees Aelita as a keyboardist/DJ, like Rick Wakeman from Yes), I imagine Aelita being a multi-instrumentalist, with the guitar as a primary instrument (even though I see her doing electric, not Leo Kottke-like music) because I don't like her DJ hobby as well as others might.
Also, even making Sharon Mann about as angry as Leo when his voice sounds like geese farts on a muggy day, I picture Aelita as having a brother that didn't go into Lyoko for 10 years, but for 5 minutes and he went to college, becoming a senator and trying to find where in the hell his sister is via his iMac. (In my mind, Aelita is a "sort of fruit company" computer user and actually likes it better than Windows.)
I'd have to say, a lot of my stuff was actually influenced by my stream-of-consciousness story, "Doesn't Anybody Know We're In Palisades?", the story crossing over Vice City/Saved by the Bell/CL/Bonus Stage in a confusing story arc that I can understand, but I'm having trouble writing it. "White Noise Day", the alt-universe fanfic about Aelita being (I don't like that) IRENE L. HOPPER and that Franz and Antea/Lani were in another house somewhere. I read it after I saw "The Key", so I was confused and added that confusion to my story. The final story is "10,000 Promises", a now-deleted story of Fanfiction.net that is actually a Kim Possible fanfic, but it implyed the use of "alternative fanfiction" by adding other characters, including some mega drama from a crushed pinky toe, and Ron ODing on aspirin, causing him to go nuts.
