Okay this is an old pick I drew a while ago like I think two years ago at the most, one at the least. (put 05 on it cause that's when it was colored) Well the style of the characters is probably different from my style now and I also tried a different way to shade the drawing this time, so if you like it or not please do tell, I like feed back. This pic's name is old hat but I like the drawing, Sonic is gazing at Sally fast alseep on the grass with Nicole nearby. Sonic probably came along to look at the sky and interupt Sally's work something he is very good at and I guess somewhere along the line Sally feel asleep working on her lil handheld computer. Sal always seems to work too hard, push herself too far and expects often too much of herself, so its nice to catch her at a moment when she is at resting and not worrying over saving the planet from ol' Robobutt. Appreciate some beauties in your hectic lives cause Sonic sure is at the moment. Enjoy some Sonic-Sally Fluff.Related content

Awsome! you should draw another pic that goes along with this!. Like: 'Sonic crawled over to his sleeping beauty and carfully caressed her head. he brought her face closer to his as he kissed her tenderly. She snaped wide awake at the sensation of sparks, but soon melted into the kiss herself after she got over the confusion. They sat there together. Melting together as one.' or not. your pic is still totally awsome!

Aww, I really like this concept and the little short scene you described in the description. There's a few problems with the lineart (Sonic's eyes wouldn't be able to look up at Sally, at this angle he's looking straight to the sky, even though his eyes are angled upwards his chin isn't. And Sally looks more like she just sighed or closed her eyes briefly to me, because her palm's wide open (fingers flat) and...well, that's not really possible when you're sleeping, your fingers curl inwards when you fall asleep or leave them at rest.
But all of that is the older elements of the picture, ack. XD I think the shadows you added should be a bit stronger, especially the ones for the varying clouds in the sky. That'd really give the viewer a sense that they're laying in the grass with their eyes to the sky.

I hope hopefully, I often like to go back and cringe at my earlier work. But that one I honestly hadn't looked at in years until someone asked to put it in their club gallery. I was like, you want the piece of you know what in your gallery? Alright.

Awww, well there's something deep down at the heart of it that's beautiful! Your description on that entry really was great, too. Sonic's all about speed, but you showed what he's like when he takes a pause between blazing through everything. Made me want to draw my own version of the scene honestly. So what I'm trying to say is, don't be so hard on your old work!

I like it! Here's some feedback if ya still want it: I love the line art - the drawing itself is good. But I find there's something off about the shading, and the grass is way too green lol.
Also, a theoretical question, if Sonic lied on his back on the ground like that, wouldn't his spikes get stuck? XD lol
