Description
A scene from a Doctor Who fanfiction, called "An Unexpected Victorian Holiday" by scifigeekgirl, I read where 10.5, Rose and Jackie get not only left on Bad Wolf bay...but stranded in the 1800s as well. The Doctor always was a lousy TARDIS driver. Anywho, this is from Chapter 4 where Rose and 10.5 on a steamer back to London are talking about what star they are going to visit first once they get their TARDIS grown and back to the 2000s. Fun story, do take a peek, just hope I haven't spoiled too much about it explaining so the picture makes sense.[link]

This being Rose and The Doctor, no doubt that the steamer will either sink, get confronted by pirates or turn out to be carrying a Cursed Mystical Treasure (tm).

Yeah, piracy hasn't ever died out. Add onto this that this is DW and suddenly it is obvious that the Last Pirates would suddenly find their way to the North Sea and that particular steamer. It's the power of Narrative Causuality at work.
