You're most welcome! Of course I still am! I would never miss it and the best part is I will be a tourist guide this summer so I'll get to see many beautiful places!

Nature can be rather dramatic sometimes
Thanks for the comment.

Or is it our unique nature to dramatise it? In either case, nice work.

In my opinion mosses are some of the more underrated organisms in the kingdom of plants. I might be biased since I did my masters in forest moss ecology. Nevertheless; to know these humble little beings is to love them.
Glad you liked them!

Wow! That is pretty cool. I have a soft spot for mosses myself (though not the scientific background) from long hikes with my Dad through the black forest and also an amazing visit to New Zealand some years ago, the rain forest there is amazing, not a spot that isn't covered in some kind of moss... I also think fungi are pretty amazing, neither plant nor animal...

New Zealand is on my bucket list; I didn’t even know that they had beautiful mosses there. All the more reason to visit!
I did a painting where I β€˜borrowed’ a rock formation from Schwarzwald.
Maybe you even walked past it in your youth? There weren’t any mosses here, though: [link]

Nice stone formation - really reminds me of the kind of glacier-rounded broken granite you can see around the Feldberg!
New Zealand should definitely be on every nature-lover's bucket list... I hope you get to go! If I could live anywhere in the world, I'd move there and be happy to the end of my days.
