Hey look, I made another old-timey-style character.

Much like how Bianca Bunny was inspired by old Mickey Mouse cartoons from Disney, and Tamara Tabby Tech was created as homage to old MGM, WB, and H-B shorts that predicted a highly advanced future, The Marvelous Melody was visually based off of Betty Boop. As her name suggests, Melody primarily stars in musical shorts, usually with her as the lead singer.

This, however, is a rare case of Melody taking a backseat to other, more typically cartoony singers, in particular a three-fish choir that serenades her during a swim.

And that's pretty much all there is to it! Hope you enjoy~
