Got intense at the start and now feeling unhappy again. I wish Sonar could put a more positive face on after she just helped Amy.

Yeah, she was feeling good about helping, but sensing an unpleasant tone in Amy's "thanks", makes it seem that she isn't wanted at that moment and then Sally wanting her to head back to Sky Patrol and await to be needed again just puts salt on the wound. But yeah, Sonar still isn't ready to fight and that's what Sally is trying to say. She wasn't trying to be a jerk, she was just being the leader and trying to keep Sonar safe.

You know I been holding in my own thoughts, but I think I should share. I think I understand what Sonar is feeling because we all go through it at some point or another or experience even now: uselessness. The feeling that no matter what we do, and what we say and despite all of our best efforts is that when it comes to the "big picture" we just don't fit, hence Sonar's comment last page about Cream being able to do more than her. Now I know that honestly isn't true as there are things that make her vital to the Freedom Fighters but when we are caught up in our own self-worthlessness it can be hard to see at times and it takes a very important someone to snap us out of it. *Noms popcorn* I am looking forwards to seeing as how she works through this problem, and grows because of it. I read once on T.V Tropes, "kill your darlings lovingly." Which means simply put don't be afraid to challenge your character. Beat them up a little. After all your comment Quote makes all the more sense.
