Sorry this was done so late, but what better way than to come back with a great picture for y'all to enjoy huh? X3 Hope y'all enjoy it cus this thing took three days to make. Its also a small gift for I'm sorry this was done late. :C NOW for a small story to go with this pic!

'Oh no! It's Valentines Day and I forgot all about it! Why am I so forgetful when it comes to these things?! Oh, right, its because I didn't have a girlfriend in the past and I don't know how to be romantic on my own!' Thought the Hero of Mobius as he looked at his calender. "Well, what a good way to start Valentines Day Sonic. Its all ready noon and I didn't call up Sonar to wish her a Happy Valentines Day. Just great." He sarcastically congratulated him self. "She must hate me for forgetting. Well, got to make it up to her some way. Hmmmm, maybe I can play it off by calling her to see how she is, then ask her for a run or something; while still not saying anything about Valentines Day, and right when she thinks I totally forgot I'll surprise her with something at the end! But...the thing is....WHAT will be that surprise thing at the end....?" He thought out loud. He sighed as he gave up the thought and decided to do what he was planning at first. "Oh well, I'll think of it when the time gets here." He dialed up Sonar's house number and waited for her to pick up.

SONAR'S HOUSE

Sonar was in the middle of cooking lunch when the phone rang. "Hmmm, I wounder who that could be?" She said out loud as she went to get the phone. She picked it up and gave a warm greeting. "Hello, this is Sonar The Hedgehog!" She heard a small chuckle on the other line. "Hey Breezy, its me Sonic." Sonar's heart lifted and her face lit up. "Oh hey Sonic! What's up blue?" She went back in the kitchen to monitor the chilly on the stove. "Nothing much. Um ya busy?" He asked. "Mmmm, well, I'm making lunch if you count that as busy. Heh heh!" Sonic chuckled. "Chilli Dogs right?" Sonar giggled. "Yep! You guessed it! So, what'cha called me up for?"'Please tell me Happy Valentines Day! No one has said it to me yet and it would really brighten up my day if YOU said it Sonic...'"Oh, no apparent reason. Just wanted to know how you were and if you'd like to go out on a run with me after you eat lunch?" Sonar's heart dropped, but hid her emotion that she was hurt by the fact he hasn't remembered about the day of love. "Y-yeah, I'd like that." She finally spoke after about a few seconds. "Cool, I'll be right over to meet ya. Later Sona!" He hung up before she could say a word. "Umm..bye?" Sonar was so confused as she hung up the phone and finished her lunch. She ate the two chilli dogs in a few minutes and got ready to go out on a run with Sonic. 'I know romance is not his strongest emotion, but it wouldn't hurt to try to remember once in a while. I mean it is Valentines Day, I'm sure its marked on his calender. Memory is also not his strongest of things either. Sighs, I hope he remembers soon. It's kinda sad when people forget important things.'

OUTSIDE SONAR'S HOUSE

'I think I really got her this time! She totally must think I forgot!' Thought Sonic as he walked up to her door step. 'Now I hope I can keep this up and act totally oblivious to things around me when we are running around town and at the park. I'm sure we'll see a lot of Valentine stuff and Sonar will keep insisting or hinting on me of what day it is today. Heh, when our run is over I'll tell her I need to go somewhere and be back. I need to see a certain someone to help me out here with romance, but Sonar won't know it until the end of the special thing I'm getting help planned!' After a small chuckle he knocks on her door. He heard a small yell from inside the home saying: "COMING!!" And after a few seconds the door opens to reveal the light brown hedgehog in her black, white stripped running shorts, her yellow-green sleeveless hoodie jacket, her sky blue scarf, quills up in a ponytail for today, and her sky blue boots. She gave him a warm smile and closed the door behind her. "Hey Sonic, ready to run?" She asked as she stretched her arms and legs. "Heh, you bet I am! I like your new outfit Sonar. Make you look sporty!" He made a small laugh. "Teehee! Thank you!" She stood straight. "Okay, I'm ready to run now." Sonic nodded and got in position as she went into position too. "Good, now...LETS GO!!" He dashed off and Sonar ran after him.

LATER

Sonic was right about the run. Everywhere they ran it was all hearts here, couples kissing and in love, seeing red. Sonar kept dropping hints about what day it was today, but each time she brought it up, he would make a sharp turn to avoid the question and Sonar would have to readjust her running direction to follow him. At the end of the run he told her that he had to do something with Tails late that day and that he will see her later that night. Sonar; with a heavy heart, let him go do what he had to do despite her urge to just tell him what day it was today. She held her tongue knowing that maybe it'll hit him soon and he did say he will see her later. Maybe by then he will remember and bring her flowers or something. She kept her hopes up as he dropped her off at her house and watched him run off to Tails' place.

Tails' Workshop in Mystic Ruins

"Tails?! You hear buddy?!" Called out Sonic as he entered Tails' workshop. Tails came out from under the Tornado all covered in oil and grease. "Oh hey Sonic! Didn't expect you to come out here, I thought you'd be with Sonar during this Valentines Day. What's up? Is something wrong?" Tails cleaned up a bit using a rag as he walked up to his big brother. "Yeah, I know. Well, You can kind a say something is wrong. I don't know what to do for Sonar on this day. I need...help." Sonic admit it. As much as that stung his pride, he knew he had to take a hit to it if he wanted to make this night special for his beloved girlfriend. "And not only that, I'm making her think I forgot...well, I did at first, but I remembered. So yeah, I haven't told her the greeting yet." He sheepishly put his hand behind his head and made a small nervous chuckle. Tails just stood there mouth dropped, and after a few seconds he snapped back into reality. "Oh Sonic, your hopeless. Not telling your girlfriend 'Happy Valentines Day' on the day it SUPPOSE to be said is the WORST thing you could do to her! You better call her up right now and tell her Sonic, before its too late." He reached out for the phone, but Sonic stopped him from doing so and he looked up at his big brother in confusion. "No Tails, its part of my plan to surprise her." He gave him a warm smile. "Oh, then, what are you planning for her?" Sonic sighed. "That's what my problem is Tails. I WANT to plan something nice, but ya know me I'm not a romantic type of guy...well, much. I need help planning something nice for her tonight. Can you help me? Or find someone that can help me with this?" Tails smiled. "Anything for my big bro. I'm not much help, but I think I know someone that can help you with this." Tails gave Sonic a small paper and read it. "Hmm, I guess Vector can help. Thanks Tails!" Sonic gave him a small nuggy, messing up is small hair and got ready to dash off. "Heh, any time Sonic!" He fixed his hair and prepared for Sonic's take off. Sonic dashed off and left the wind behind, messing up Tails' workshop and knocked a few things over. "Ugh...as much as I love my brother....I hate it when he does this..." Tails ended up picking everything up.

VECTOR'S DETECTIVE AGENCY

"So you came to me to ask me to set up a romantic date night for your girlfriend with you? What does this place look like to you?! A speed dating negotiation?! NO!! I'm a DETECTIVE!!" Vector shouted as he slammed his desk with his big hands. "Oh come on Vector, I know under those rough scales your nothing but a big softy! Besides, you know more "Romance" than I do. Why can't you help out an ol' pal huh?" Sonic sat on the desk. "All I need is small tips on how to get Sonar to enjoy her night. Please?" Vector gave it a thought, and after thinking it through he gave in. "Ugh, fine. I'll help you out with this just this once. Only cus I'm a nice guy. Espio! Charmy! Help me come up with a list of romantic things for Sonic do with his date Sonar!" Espio appeared out of no where and Charmy came flying in from another room. "OOOO!! Goody!! I know what you could do! Give her cotton candy!!" Charmy sat in the big couch and bounced up and down on it. Vector writes it down in a note pad. "Hmm, some flowers would be nice." Thought Espio. "Does she have a specific flower?" Asked Vector as he wrote it down. Sonic thought for a moment. "Ummm, she did say she loves roses. But she also likes Orchids." Vector wrote it down. "Well, get her both then." Charmy's stomach grumbled. "I'm hungry. OOOOOO!!! Give her a picnic under the starts! I heard its going to be a full moon out tonight too!!" All the boys faces lit up. "Charmy that is the most greatest idea I've heard from you yet!" Vector said as he wrote it down in his note pad. "Yeah, maybe put candles and put on some romantic music to set the mood." Suggested Espio. "That's a good one too." Vector rips out the paper and hands it to Sonic. "Well, here ya go. One romantic list for a special Valentine Night." Sonic takes the paper and smiles to them. "Thanks guys. This will truly make her smile and make up for my tardiness in telling her." Sonic made his way to the door. "Anytime Sonic. And good luck with her." Vector winked. Sonic blushed, but dared not turn around and let them see it. He dashed out as fast as he could to prepare for tonight.

"Okay, I got everything set up. Now time to set it up outside to where we could see the moon perfectly." Sonic dashes out with everything he needed and a portable battery radio.

OUTSKIRTS OF THE GREAT FOREST

"Whew! Okay, that's ready, time to surprise Sonar. Heh, she's going to love this!" Sonic dashes out to Sonar's home and decides to surprise her by not calling her.

SONAR'S HOUSE

Sonar sat in her living room, watching chick-flick movies, drinking soda, eating pop corn and ice cream. "*sighs* I really thought Sonic would take me somewhere nice for Valentines Day. Or at least tell me." Sonar continued to eat the ice cream until she heard fast knocking on the door. "What the....?" She got up and opened the door to reveal Sonic standing there giving her a big smile that showed his pearly white teeth. "Sonic? What are you doing out here so late?" She asked him. "Well, I have something for ya and its a surprise." He winked at her. "Go get ready cus I see your in PJs. I'll wait for ya." Sonar blushed and let him in side her home. "Oh okay, I'll be right down." She wend to go get her self ready.

A FEW MINUTES LATER

AT THE OUTSKIRTS OF THE GREAT FOREST

"Sonic, can I open my eyes now?" Sonar asked for the 100th time that night. "Not yet!" He replied with a big smile as he put her down and got ready to take the blind fold off. "Okay ready?" Sonar laughed. "I've been asking the whole ride over here; to wherever this pace is, of course I'm ready!" Sonic chuckled. "All right you got me." He takes the blind fold off and let her see his work. Sonar's eyes went wide and tears of joy filled her eyes. "Oh...my...gosh...S-Sonic...y-you did all this for me?" She looked to him in amazement. Sonic blushed and put his hand behind his head and chuckled nervously. "Eh heh heh, I kind a had some help so it won't be nice to take all the credit. Vector, Charmy and Espio and a bit of Tails helped me out on this. Happy Valentines Day Sonar." Sonar blushed and hugged him tightly. "Happy Valentines Day to you too Sonic. Thank you." The both hedgehogs hugged and walked over to the blanket. Sonic turned on the radio and played the CD inside it. A song called "Mechanical Romance" began to play softly, he turned on the candle and pulled out a bouquet of red roses and blue orchids. "For you my love." He said as he handed them to her. "Oh Sonic." She takes them and smells it. "They smell lovely!" Sonic winked. "I knew you'd like them. So shall we eat? I brought a full batch of chilli dogs." Sonar smiled wider. "Yes, lets shall!" The two hedgehogs ate their meal, drank some lemonade, enjoyed the music and the view of the full moon. "Sonic, this has been the best Valentines Day ever. Thank you so much. Heh, and here I thought you forgot about it." Sonic laughed. "Heh, nah! I knew it was Valentines Day all along. I just didn't know how to make it special for ya." Sonar crawled up to him and sat on his lap. Sonic blushed as she did so, unsure of why she was making these moves on him. "Ummm, Sonar?" Sonar giggled. "I don't know how else to make this Valentines Day special for you Sonic. You have given me so much as it is. What would you like?" She smiled at him with half lidded emerald eyes. "Its really no problem Sonar. I enjoyed doing this for you. Your special to me and I wanted to show it. You don't need to give me anything. Just holding you here with me, just staying by my side, just you being happy is enough for me. Honest." He gave a reassuring smile and she returned it. "Well, if you say so. But here is my gift to you Sonic. For all your heroic deeds and for just making me feel special tonight. Happy Valentines Day my Sonikku." She leaned in and gave Sonic the most passionate kiss she has ever given him and he returned the same passion back to her.
