Okay, so I'm goin to get into trouble for saying this, but the first thing that sprang to mind when I saw the gradient was Pride. I don't know if you intended it that way, and there's nothing wrong with that - but some people might get the wrong idea about the company if it's represented with the Pride rainbow.
Apart from that, it's a brilliant design and I can't wait to see the coded version. It's clean, and not something you see every day from standard compliant web sites. Obviously, the language will improve once the site is coded, right?
Congratulations on a truely spectacular design. It fits its purpose beautifully, and it's W3C compliant. What more could you want?
