Musical pokemon are fun... I'm running out of things to say.Oh and that instrument he's playing is called a koryu (Though I've also seen it spelled as koryun, koryin, and koryoo... Not sure what's right) And I only found one picture of a young lady playing it, so I'm pretty sure I drew it wrong.

Heh, I try and pride myself by drawing Gijinka in ways other people wouldn't think of... Mostly I miss the target entirely but once in a while I make a decent picture

same thing with me and literature, i think of something people wouldnt write about, some times it doesnt come out the way its supposed to be. but all in the end, its decent.

The pose in this art looks great and very natural. I especially love the design of the erhu in this. It's very detailed and beautiful. You did a wonderful job overall. I really like it!

I was worried about him sitting on nothing, but I'm also glad that his pose looks natural. Originally I was going to make him more english with a violin but a friend told me to keep with the Asian feel of my other bugs.

You're so good at poses *_* I didn't go through your gallery, but the four pictures I COULD see just from getting on your page looked fantastic. Maybe add some shadow to some? Otherwise, looking great. I've never been a fan of Krictetune, but your picture has made me more open to them XD

I like bug pokemon because I think they could have a rich 'history' that people overlook because they're seen as 'common' and 'weak'. So I try to express that with these pictures.
Thank you so much for your comment. The reason I just do flat colors for the pokedex entries is because it's just fun for me. When I do full pictures I pride myself in my shading and detailing, but it would just be too much work to overdo these. It's a horrible excuse, sorry

Hm, I don't think it's a bad excuse. And with those sorts of backgrounds, those instances are prolly the only time you CAN do it and get away with it still looking right some how XD If half of that made sense

Thank you. The instrument is traditionally japanese but the clothes I actually went more with a mixed asian approach. I think he kinda looks like the stereotypical 'old master' from 80's-90's martial arts movies XD
