Trying to take my art in a new direction. Tired of all of it. Deleted most of it.Also tired of no one wanting to draw my bear fursona. So here it is. A coyote/red wolf fursona. A canine, yes. Be happy.
Her name is Ruu. Is she a sparkledog because of the ribbon?

Well, I'm not sure if it'll work for you, because I have two dogs but... I take a lot of pictures of my dogs, and reference them for poses. Sometimes my dogs are uncooperative, so I end up putting one or two different pictures together for poses.
I'm not good enough to just crank it out of my brain. I still have to have something to reference. It helps me out a lot.

Everyone keeps saying this. xD I guess I wasn't clear. This is in addition to my bear. It's just an alternative when people say they don't want to draw bears.

I didn't abandon my bear one. The bear is my fursona, and this is my "caninesona" or whatever you wants to call it. I don't know, I just felt like I could be allowed to have two. xD

I don't think Ruu counts as a sparkle dog though. Fur not bright enough, hair is not... long enough? Perhaps not flippy enough?

Some of my characters probably count as sparkle dogs, but eh, i dont give a sh*t. I like them as they are, regardless of what other people might call them.

I was a canine for awhile, but a bear just fits me more. It still does, I just made a canine 'sona to appease the masses. xD
I don't mind most... just the annoying ones that look like they played a game to see how many things from Hot Topic that they could fit on themselves. So time consuming to draw. @_@

Hot Topic is my favorite store lol. I don't mind sparkle dogs really. I just don't think id want to draw them [ten million wristbands, hair thats longer that their tails, 20 different colored markings... yeh...]. And i don't want to be called one. I know i'm 'gay', but seriously- there's only so much 'sparkly' crap i can withstand xD

Awh, yeah I agree. xD I had to draw one once for an art trade and it was literally a pain to draw... just because it was so complicated and took so long to draw every single accessory.
They may not be my cup of tea, but I'm not one who goes out there and bashes other people for their 'sparkledog' if you like it, or it represents you, then who cares right? That's how I see it. x3
