I understand his concern, he almost lost his sister to that bear
And didn't his mother try to fight said bear? It was to protect Rhiker, but still. I can very well see why he and the herd dislike the idea of fighting.
I definitely for see Rhiker not taking this well. I'm really concerned about that, especially if the widower comes around.
