One of my core mantras, and I've never even watched Daria (strangely enough, I think I was following this before I even learned about Daria).

It's a good mantra to have. But pride gets in the way and people forget that it's ok to change your mind based on new information.

Yep, and really, you probably should, lest you just wind up making a fool of yourself for irrationally clinging to discredited theories or notions. As one stamp I came across puts it: Opinions can't change facts. Facts should change opinions.
