In one of those comment-conversations with , I told him I felt related to the protagonist of one of his favourite movies, "How to murder your wife" [link] , not because I want to murder anyone (or at least, not always ), but because the protagonist, Jack Lemmon, is a cartoonist who uses his own life experiences as an inspiration for his comic strips.

During the short time I've been drawing my Dragon Age sitcom, I've realized I pretty do the same. I mean, of course many strips are only related to the game, or to comments... But sometimes things happen to me, or to my family, and I can't help to think "Oh, that would be so hilarious in a strip! Let's make it happen to Yllwenn too!!". That's how the "Night Attack" ([link] ) strip was born... and how this one was written too.

So yes, this actually happened to me, one day last year (and the strip was in my "pending list" since them), when I tried to carry my cat to the new flat we had purchased (just upstairs). I don't really know what did he think, but he was so terribly scared he peed over me!!! O_O.

When I came back home to change my clothes I told my husband what had happened and we started to wonder what could have the poor cat thought to be so scared. We decided he had thought we were going to abandon him somewhere because he always peed in forbidden places, and we found it so hilarious that I thought how could I adapt it to a strip.

I don't know why I imagined the situation with the mabari instead of a cat (since I guess I could have used Ser Pounce-a-lot or something) but well... I did. And before you tell me mabaris must be very heavy, remember... Yllwenn's strenght was quite boosted at the end of the game, so yes. I think she can carry a reluctant mabari in her arms. At least for a while
