I've been watching This was a dream cosplay that took MONTHS of work and tons of money, but that was, in the end, TOTALLY worth it. The cowl, bat symbol, and gauntlets were all done entirely by me. The cowl is made out of latex and finished in Plastidip, from a sculpt and mold that I personally created; the bat symbol and gauntlets were foam sheets sprayed in Plastidip. The cape was sewn by my girlfriend from pleather (Who was a real trooper through this whole process).

My inspiration for this particular iteration of the costume comes from Batman's first appearance in Detective Comics #34 and also the use of lenses done in Brohawk's Batman artwork.

This was the most fun I've had in a cosplay in a long time. I can't wait to tweak it (smooth the texture on the cowl and get a better clasp for the clasp at the neck for the cape) and bring it back out again!
