Description
This was my final project for my advanced graphic design class for the fall of 2005. I am very proud of this accomplishment. I first had to create a series of icons for my project of any topic in which I chose consumerism and music being the subtopic. I decided to choose different types of music mediums from different eras. The circles is the main theme as is the half circle. The picture in the background is a close-up of my brothers guitar under an art lamp. The color looks great and the close up as well thanks to my Canon EOS Digital Rebel using a mode that makes objects appear rich in color.---I used Illustrator CS and Photoshop CS---

how bout if its kinda like a past2future.... yknow...started with gramaphon,turntable,boombox,walkman,cd,and ipod.... just 2 give that "history" touch....
but anyway..... this is a FAV!

WARNING--LONG EXPLANATION
My first choice was a phonograph or gramaphone---whatever it's called, but I didn't like how it fit with the rest. The turntable was an option but I wanted to do the devices that fit a certaind decade. The four that I did were only about a decade apart. If I had done a phonograph, the distance in years was too much of a leap. I told my teacher that, he even had the same idea of the phonograph, but he agreed that it was too much of a jump.
