my first try at the Pumpkin King, tried excusively for Halloween this year!
it probably would have looked better if i hadn't drawn it in pen, and had sketched it with pencil first
anyway, this also accounts as a reference sketch for an "The Nightmare before Christmas" comic i'm going to start (and try to finish) by Halloween this month. it's going to be about--you guessed it--Sky XD
so, let me know if you guys would like to see a mini Halloween comic series from me this year, and also what you guys think of my sketch

my favorite moment is when Oogie doesn't hear Santa and Sally hit the magma, so he turns the table to check why, and Jack is on the table in this really sexy pose and says "Hello, Oogie." XDDD (not being a fangirl!! just sayin!)

the only issue i have is the fingers on his... left...? hand. XD they seem a bit long to me. but you're probably not looking for a critique, so i'll shut up. XD other than that, it's AMAZING.

about his hand, the whole time i was thinking of how to pose him, i was making sure to take his height and grace into account, as well as how majestic his posture was throughout the entire movie; how easily he moved his long arms about, and kept his thin finger curled, so as to be "out of the way" when he walked about
and, on a side note, i agree, though, that his fingers do seem a bit elongated
