Description
An original character I made for a contest at another forum. I guess you could call him the batman/punisher of feudal japan. The big kanji means "Rhythm" and the kanji on his shirt means "change."Related content

rhythm and change...in a way i think that's the spirit of the whole japanese culture, keeping balance, rhythm, though changing. i like the way the wrinkles of the paper interfere with his face, kind of makes me think that beside every soft feature, there is a scar...i also like his body composure, he looks like he's caressing his sword, meditating ...the symbol of Japan, the flag that he keeps over his eyes is fantastic, maybe worn out because of memories and remorses maybe...he really has an air of Batmanish justifier, not quite punisher though...
