I was watching the original 1993 Super Mario Bros last night as an early comfort watch before it's 30th next month... IT IS IN FACT A GOOD MOVIE, A GREAT MOVIE! I really love the story, acting (Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo as the brothers is perfect. Not accurate, fully, but still, really good), the world, and all of that.

Anyway, along with wishing that at least one sequel as made, I got this crazy idea of Yoshi having custom Thwomp Stompers for his dino feet. So, i started this morning just drawing this... then line art, then grey and light values... then i colored. I worked on other stuff but mainly did this....and aside from some issues, I really like this!

I made the world, a new world they discovered (or vice versa) more like the Mushroom Kingdom from the classic games. They have their modern suits- with credit to Kaighen www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZZLI-… on Luigi's boots being green, I took that from him xP. But yeah, really am now wishing this happened. And yes, the bricks are alive.... xP
