Description VeggieTales- Genesis: The story of Creation

I started this picture on Thursday and finished it this morning. I originaly wanted the fruits on the β€˜Tree or knowledge of Good and Evil to look yucky, but logically nobody would be foolishly deceived by a demonic fruit. Well, not in that time. Wait? Demonic fruit? Forgot that dumb thing I just said.
I attended to have a hood Satan there, but like the people at BigIdea, I thought it would be wiser to not make the art so scary.
As you can see, I have a pretty nature color scheme for everything in the Garden of Eden.

Larry the Cucumber is Adam (the Man), while Petunia Rhubarb is Eve (the Woman).
There are birds, a flog, and a sheep. And God’s mighty hand is in the sky (with light shining down on the garden and the Tree of Life)

Awesome! I love veggie tales, I remember watching it at my church. Creation has to be my favorite story from the bible. Fact, I'm working on some veggie tales fan characters right now.

Sorry. I'm just one of those guys who believe in evolution, and how things REALLY went down across time. Lousy biblical hippies. )

Doesn't mean you have to be rude and hateful towards someone who believes differently than you do. You're entitled to your own beliefs, but that was completely uncalled for.

Good for you. Don't be a prick to people who believe differently. If you don't believe in Creation, then don't go and look at art about Creationism. Simple concept.

Well, I didn't INTENTIONALLY look for art like that, by now I don't even remember how I found it.

*sigh* I'm not going to argue with you on this person's artwork page. My point is that if you can't say something nice about someone's work because you believe differently, then just don't say anything. That's all. Have a nice day.

Alcoholic-Legend [2013-04-14 14:36:05 +0000 UTC]

The Tree of Knowledge is not bad, though. God made it in the creation myth. The idea of it was humanity losing it's innocence once they ate of it because they became like God itself, knowing Good from Evil. Plus, the snake never even lied during his speech, which is another interesting tidbit. Some scholars even argue that God meant to put the tree there, just so man would be engineered to fall (though this can be argued either way). The Adam & Eve myth is interesting in this aspect, as it raises many questions for the reader, and is subject to vast interpretation (as are most Biblical stories).

Although I didn't grow up with Veggie Tales, I love this! Especially the serpent sneaking out of the tree. I hope he bites himself! lol

Thank you. There is no age limit to become a VeggieTales fan! Bit himself? I am not sure about that, but you know the story of Adam and Eve and the serpant loosing his limbs. Right?
