Description
Our first 3rd party character has shown up! Sadly, Snake isn't going to be in this thing, but at least Mega Man and Pac-Man are going to be. Sonic's seen better days, and is now rougher and tougher (with some speed included). This is also the first Brawl newcomer in the project (next is the Pokemon Trainer). Something worth noting is that I'm not going to be posting these character in any specific order. You can't really predict who's next.Finally! Sonic is back in to fight. The blue blur has definitely seen better days, especially since he's now 23 years old. Sonic has been fighting Eggman for ages now, suffering injuries on his elbow and head, but still maintains his speed. He's also wearing the Crystal Ring from Sonic Adventure, which he uses in both his up and side specials.
SPECIAL MOVES
Sonic's moveset is mostly unchanged from his previous Smash incarnations, but his side special is now Light Speed Dash.
- NEUTRAL: Homing Attack - Sonic curls up into a ball and homes in on the closest opponent.
- SIDE: Light Speed Dash - Using the Crystal Ring and his shoes, Sonic charges up a Light Speed Dash before zooming ahead. The charge from this attack can also be used with Sonic's down and neutral specials.
- UP: Spring Jump - Sonic produces a spring from hammerspace and bounces off of it. It can be used by other characters 3 times before it fades away.
- DOWN: Spin Charge - In this move, Sonic crouches and charges a spin dash. Charged energy from his side attack can be used with this move, just like his neutral attack.
- FINAL SMASH: Super Sonic - Using the 7 Chaos Emeralds, Sonic turns into his super form and flies across the stage. The move ends with Sonic using Chaos Blast on the opponents.
