It doesn't take several years, some people can learn a new language in a matter of weeks.
Also, the humanistic brain is able to learn any language between the ages of 1 month to 5-years-old. Β How do you think any child is able to learn any language in the world? Some kids learn 2 or 3 languages in before they are 3.
