Chief is a very profound character, come to think of it...
I think Halo 5 will be about him going his own way to find more about the Forerunners and Locke will be trying to hunt him down in a sort of "Apocalypse Now"-type situation.

Yup. Cortana could still be resurrected probably due to the fact she has some of Hasley's tissue. But Cortana also met the librarian so maybe the mantle could have something to bring her back.
