Bowser is the King of the Koopas and mortal enemy to the Mario Bros.
Always capturing Princess Peach so he can get her to bake him a cake... I mean rule the Mushroom Kingdom. Bowser is
considered to be THE video game villain even though throughout the series he is considered a joke or making the jokes himself.
In all, Bowser just wants Peach to give him the attention she gives Mario, the poor guy.
