Here's a new screen of Sonic Next Gen. In here Shadow fights a the mysterious hedgehog, Mephiles the hedgehog. Is he friend or foe? We will just have to wait and see it.Related content

You know, in my upcoming series for Flipnote Hatena, Sonic X Adventure, Mephiles the Dark and Iblis the Dark (my fanon form of Iblis) are principal antagonists of the series and their main goal is -as said in the Onu-Metru Archives- to see who can awaken their resembling dark deity first (Iblis - Pyros / Mephiles - Dark Gaia). However, neither have gotten very close because of one kid that is determined to stop them- Randy the Hedgehog.
Most of the nighttime bosses Randy faces are large freaks that Mephiles or Iblis throw at him. Mephiles the Dark is the nighttime boss of Crisis City, Metro Island. Like this boss battle screenshot, Mephiles will first disguise himself as Randy's shadow and Randy will have to beat Mephiles' Cronies in order
to fill up his Metal Boost Gauge. When the gauge is full, Metal Madness will trigger and unveil Mephiles so he is vulnerable to Randy's attacks. This strategy will have to be repeated a few times to defeat Mephiles and win the boss battle.

Mephiles has no right to lose, even had a good chance of becoming the worst villain in the world. Hum, Mephiles behavior reminds me of a wolf. That's why I like him.

mephiles made them only in one fight agains't shadow it was the first fight i think,he made the mini mephiles grab shadow and then explode but they'r prety easy to defeat
