I think he'd end up with that kind of figure when he reached full maturity, seeing as he gets similar amounts of exercise to Sonic.

I didn't like the XYL designs, when most of the characters were taller versions of their young selves, with no differences aside from that, despite the fact that we know that adult Mobians do not look like that.

It was good idea, but a meglomaniacal Shadow, naturally occuring cyborgs (Ant+Bunnie's kids) and Tails and Mina getting together, not to mention the fact that one of their spawn (Melody) is annoying as hell just doesn't sit well with me. XYL's big problem was that the writer switch-over (Penders and Bollers to Flynn) was in between part one and two, so it was a little fucked up.

Since you wanted some advanced critique, after giving some extra thought, here's a little more.
What's noticed here about them both is not only does Tails appear to be older, more mature, but the fact that neither is wearing anything, symbolising both rebirth and an Eden-like scenario, a state of returning to innocence for them both. With the aurora borealis and the stars in the background, they symbolise the beginning of life, for such are what stars are, they represent the beginning of life and light. It's as if the Fiona that became evil has died, only to be reborn as the Fiona before she was captured, before she lost faith in everyone, before her heart was tainted with doubt and mistrust; and only Tails' pure unconditional love could save her from all the misery that she caused.
Nobody is beyond redemption, especially if there is someone who loves them. If there's a title I could add to this, it would be "The Redemption of Fiona, the Prodigal Freedom Fighter."

Why, thank you very much for such a well thought-out commentary. I really appreciate that. I hadn't really thought about it when I was drawing it, but it's a good match. Their matured state and exposure in the stars was to show new love and life, though I don't think too deeply about how Archie completely trashed Fiona and her reputation.

This is exactly the time to await, for when Tails is no longer a child, but a mature young adult, ready to call Fiona back from her dark path. She's a good person, she's not evil and Tails' love can conquer that villainous side of her, leaving the girl that he loves devotedly.

Nice thats how it should have been. Although due to the reent comics *couth* 178 i get the feeling Tails is ganna go like psycho and get revenge by killing Fiona or Scourge. But thats just me.

Tails and Fiona would make a good couple.
They just have to get past the age difference, which shouldn't be too hard.
Tails is young but is a lot smarter then Sonic.

i love this pairing, but all though the anatomy works, i still dont have enthusiasm for muscling up cartoon chars who r supposed to b scrawny-like (specially for tails here 0___0 ) but I like it, nonetheless ^____^
