HOLY SHITAKE MUSHROOMS, BATMAN!! IT'S DRAWN ART!That it is. This baby's been lying on my shelf for a while, and I've finally gotten around to finishing it. I'd figure I'd explain a little, as I consider this a tribute to two things-
First of all, I still consider Viewtiful Joe to have been one of the most imaginative games made to date. It was relatively easy to pick up, but that didn't mean it was an easy game, by all means! The in-game inspiration by Tokusatsu, both old and new, only compounded its ingenuity.
Second of all, this is a tad of a tribute to Kamen Rider: The First, which was released a few years ago. It was a reboot of the original series, made more modern and generally more bad-ass. It got me around to wondering what it would be like if Joe got the same treatment, and this is the result! More armor! Realistic proportions!
Though this probably means I'll be drawing Kamen Riders Ichi-go and Ni-go in the Viewtiful Joe style now. XD

This is REALLY awesome Joe. I love the film strip in the back. As I said on the phone, it's dark so it draws attention to itself, but without drawing attention away from the rest of the picture. It's a nice accent to what you have here.
Good job with the figures too! I can't remember the name of the older guy, but he really caught my attention, particularly because of how you've changed him up. It makes it more dramatic and more REAL feeling, if that's okay to say.
Joe himself is really good. It's really hard to do helmets at that angle and you did a good job. Congrats!
