My favorite female characters of Sonic The Hedgehog:Amy,Cream and Tikal

Agreed. It even sort of parallels with Team Sonic if you think about it.
Sonic/Amy Rose: the speed type Hedgehogs with green eyes, tan armsΒ (seriously, they're the only ones with arms like that in the games), sharing a gameplay style in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle's multiplayer mode some sense of adventure.
Tails/Cream: the mammals that can fly thanks to some liberties with their bodies and acts as a younger sibling to their respective Hedgehog, having a bit of a sweet tooth and owning some form of a pet.
Knuckles/Tikal: the power type Echidnas who are tied to the Chaos Emeralds and Angel Island, both of them sharing a gameplay style in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle's multiplayer mode and sort of acts as an older sibling towards their Hedgehog (I say sort of, because we never see Amy Rose and Tikal have some form of a sisterly bond ever, but whatever).
